• Project Introduction:

The Fourth People's Hospital of Longgang District, Shenzhen (First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University School of Medicine, Shenzhen Hospital) is a public non-profit hospital organized by the Longgang District Health Bureau. The hospital covers an area of 21000 square meters, with a total construction area of 108800 square meters and 500 beds. It is a comprehensive second-class hospital that integrates medical treatment, healthcare, teaching, scientific research, and prevention.

• Scheme introduction:

The hospital roof is equipped with air-cooled heat pump units, fans and other equipment, as well as exhaust system vents. The equipment generates mechanical noise and aerodynamic noise during operation, with noise levels exceeding 90dB (A). The noise reduction scheme mainly focuses on sound insulation and noise reduction. Full enclosure sound insulation screens are used for air-cooled heat pump units and fans to reduce reverberation inside the enclosure. Perforated plates are used on the inside of the sound insulation board to minimize reverberation; The exhaust system uses a muffler to reduce noise at the exhaust outlet.

After the noise reduction renovation, each sound function area meets the indoor allowable noise value in 6.1.1 of the "GB50118-2010 Code for Design of Sound Insulation of Civil Buildings": ≤ 40dB (A) for wards, rest rooms, monitoring rooms, operating rooms, etc., and ≤ 50dB (A) for entrance halls and waiting rooms.
