• Project Introduction:

Dongguan Zhongdian Second Thermal Power Co., Ltd. implements centralized heating and cooling for Dongcheng Science and Technology Industrial Park and surrounding areas in Dongguan City. At present, there are 53 heating enterprises and 10 cooling enterprises, with an annual maximum cooling load of 60 million KW and an average annual cooling load of 55 million KW. The maximum hourly cooling load is 9000 KW and the minimum hourly cooling load is about 3000 KW, operating continuously throughout the year. The external cooling price is 0.178 yuan/KW. During the cooling period from 2020 to 2023, the highest operating cost was 0.23 yuan/KW, and the average price over four years was 0.21 yuan/KW. The cooling station enterprise has been operating at a loss.

• Renovation measures:

New low-temperature lithium bromide waste heat refrigeration will be built, utilizing the existing waste heat boiler to supply all 130 ℃ hot water for centralized cooling in the energy station, with a maximum cooling capacity of 9000KW per hour, ultimately replacing the existing steam and hot water lithium bromide units.

• Energy saving effect:

By directly utilizing existing waste heat resources, the cost of external cooling has been reduced to below 0.07 yuan. The total annual operating cooling capacity of Phase I is 18 million KW, with a profit of 0.08 yuan per KW and an annual profit of 1.44 million yuan. The total annual operating cooling capacity of Phase II is 37 million KW, with a profit of 0.1 yuan per KW and an annual profit of 3.7 million yuan, with a total profit of 5.14 million yuan; According to the previous average annual cooling capacity of 55 million KW, annual electricity savings of 4.4 million kWh, and annual carbon emissions reduction of 9774 tons.
